Replica Panerai Radiomir Base Logo, the cases measure 45 mm in diameter and are made of polished 316L stainless steel (“acciaio” in Italian). The black dials are enhanced with the large, rounded Arabic numerals characteristic of Panerai, lightly engraved to hold the luminous material that coats them and enables easy reading of the time in the dark. The hands are also coated with the luminous substance, which is cream-colored to evoke an aged, “vintage” look. On both the two-handed Logo model and the Black Seal, which adds a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, the “OP” (for Officine Panerai) logo, which gives these models their nickname, resides at 6 o’clock, its up- and down-pointing arrows representing the deep sea and the sky, two frontiers explored by the Radiomir’s earliest military wearers.
