44.25mm black ceramic case with polished finished beveled edges. Polished black ceramic crown with the omega logo engraved. Sedna gold (rose gold) bezel ring with matte black ceramic fill, with an engraved & matt chromium nitride filled tachymeter scale.

The Dial

Dark grey main dial & sub-dials.Sub-dials surrounded with raised rims with very fine printed black indexes.Applied 18k Sedna gold index hour markers with luminescent fill. Date window is black on black and displayed at the 6 o’clock position.

Replica Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, fifty years ago, Apollo 8 became the first manned spacecraft to orbit the Moon and the three astronauts on board the first men to witness the far, or dark side, of our celestial neighbour. To celebrate this encounter, in 2013 Omega dedicated an entire collection of black-themed Speedmasters known as the Dark Side of the Moon. Designed to highlight the unseen side of the Moon, all the 44.25mm cases of this collection are crafted in high-tech black ceramic.
